New Jersey homeowners can receive up to $5,000 in financial incentives and qualify for no interest financing (up to $10,000) when they have energy efficient upgrades performed in their home! Home Performance with Energy Star (HPwES) is a program that offers ways in which one could improve their home's comfort and also reduce energy costs by up to 30%. And now, for participants of the HPwES program, incentives for oil and gas customers have been reinstated into 2013! Already in effect, funding is available again for oil, propane, and municipal electric customers now through June 30, 2013 or until the funds are fully exhausted.
Steps to take in order to save:
1. Schedule a home energy audit by contacting a participating accredited and certified contractor.
2. Allow the auditor to complete a thorough examination of your home.
3. Receive an extensive report listing the solutions that can be taken to help you save.
4. View the financial incentives available to help pay for the work.
A&E Construction is a BPI Certified contractor in affiliation with the HPwES program and can help you get started on your energy saving solutions! All that you have to do is fill out a simple questionnaire for our review and you're on your way to a more comfortable, healthy, affordable home.
